Scott Crain joined Washington Medical-Legal Partnership in 2008 as the organization’s first attorney. In 2016, Scott transitioned to Statewide Advocacy Coordinator at Northwest Justice Project and is continuing to work closely with MLP. Scott advocates for families living in poverty throughout Washington state, and works to achieve significant legal reform on issues of importance to low-income families.
Formerly a staff attorney for NJP in Pasco, Washington, Scott has also worked as a research fellow for the Institute on Race and Poverty. He has a JD from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Mathematics from Seattle University.
